Drone N @RT44579096 2h Another thought-provoking season that masterfully raises the stakes. The tension builds to a gripping climax, layering in new twists and puzzles while finally bringing some much-needed clarity to the overarching story. Now are there two opposing evil groups one day walkers as well the night walkers that were familiar with? As the pieces begin to fall into place, I'm hoping that the next season promises even higher stakes — where survival feels far from guaranteed and every character's fate hangs in the balance and further reveals how this place came to be and the purpose it serves as it seems everyone are more interconnected than we realised. If From can resolve the multittude of mysteries & stick the landing in Season 5, keeping its internal logic intact, I would consider this amongst the top 20 TV shows ever made. For an episode or two, in season 2, the story hints at Quantum Woo (a misreprsentation of Quantum Mechanics) & therefore head towards its typical pitfalls of contrived plot structure. The latter episodes of Paradise Season leans into Quantum Woo & it is a huge bummer. Thankfully, From is not that. From is a supernatural mystry with several episodes ending in cliffhangers. But the mystry feels organic. The organic behaviour of the residents of From drive the plot. Faith,folklore & myths of a few different cultures are lighlty touched upon & seamlessly weaved together along with time travel (should I say story-travel), zombie-monster-like survivalist horror-action that keeps you guessing. It’s all filler, same things happen over and over, I was obsessed with this show and now I can’t even bring myself to finish the episodes. I literally fast forward through the episode to see if anything interesting happens, and nope, the same thing keeps repeating. So so so disappointed!!! Don’t waste your time. See more Sarah G. @Sarah406 2d So far this season is slow yet still intriguing - I know they are building up to something and the show has left me wanting to know more. Although sometimes the dialogue is monotonous, it still delivers strong performances and curiosity. Coming from someone who loves lost , you can see semblances of lost woven into this show as the creator of lost is the creator of From. If you like the constant guessing , and that some things are left open to your interpretation then this show is a great option.
