What I really love about Decorado, however, is that the surrealism coexists with the horror. The absurdity of the animation only augments the inherent absurdity of their dystopian society.

Puts the "diss" in dystopia. Even our familiar animal cartoon images have slipped off the edge, in this scary familiar treatise on a crumbling, out of control society, distraught with consumerism. Isn't it so much better with cartoon mice!
