While Brandon's own faith never wavers, the film cross-examines Christian pieties and even faith itself to a greater degree than any other faith-based film I can think of. Go to Full Review

Greater loses its way from the get-go; you can't root for an underdog who is sleepwalking through his own movie. Go to Full Review

Just sweet enough and slick enough to appeal to pigskin fans and Christian family audiences. Go to Full Review

It doesn’t work. It’s treacly, poorly acted, badly written, and blandly directed. And honestly, I’m a little offended that his gravestone is marked with his football achievements. Go to Full Review

There have been inspirational football movies in the past, such as Rudy, but what sets Greater apart is the subtlety and power of its faith message. Go to Full Review

Along with multiple music montages showing Brandon in training, the movie is cluttered with general churchy fluff. Go to Full Review

Matthew W @RT53155614 1d I can only intend about half of the old Dad's speech. He's such a mumbler. They should have found sometime who can act like a drunk but still enunciate the English language. It's a huge downer in this movie. See more Tony D. @tondot88 4d Amazing movie really asked the questions of faith everyone deals with in life and provided an answer no matter how sad and painful the answer might be. See more S W @Funrun8 Feb 23 Based on a true story this movie is moving and well done. See more RaiderRo D. @RT78501666 Dec 6 Definitely recommended. Has the cheesey sports sports cliches like most movies do but good movie about faith. Actually one of the better sports movies I’ve seen See more Julie D @RT01036434 Nov 22 Just watched this on Amazon by chance. Went in with zero expectations and was shocked at how much I enjoyed this film. As others mentioned, I actually cried at a few points, the mother’s grief was very hard to watch. Acting was well done. Going to watch this again with my adult children over Thanksgiving, it’s that good. See more Tyler W @twflix Aug 25 Based on an interesting true story, but heavy-handed, awkward, and long.
