Against the advice of locals and police, Clay (Jared Padalecki) scours the eerie woods surrounding Crystal Lake for his missing sister. At the end of the day, this is a Friday the 13th film...but it's a good one! Jason is more ferocious than ever and the kills are satisfying carnage. It says a lot though when you recycle the plot of the first 4 F13 movies and STILL feel light on story.

This is a modernized rehash of the same shortcomings that have plagued the Friday the 13th franchise since its inception: weak characters and a lack of suspense. The rapid cuts to cameras in motion makes the film even worse than its 80s counterparts.

Six letters, one word: Boring! Also, it feels non-cannon because it doesn't know what continuity its picking up from because they never explain it. I think they did, but I was too bored to care.

I saw this is high school when I was 15 lol so scary. Definitely one of the more intense Friday the 13ths. Hunting an you’ll have nightmares that Jason is outside your home. When you’re asleep at night. Other then that it’s awesome movie. You might need to sleep with the light on for a week or two. lol definitely something high schooler should not see or kids for that matter. Adult wise horror a slasher great A+ an a bit of a triller too.

Yet another film which the fans call "underrated", this film isn't even Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives situation where something out does the bad, no. It reeks falseness and plasticity which any Michael Bay movie often oozes.
