I loved The Beatles of course but it was missing the sporadic cleverness of Hard Days Night, so HELP felt lazy, both then then and now. My guess is that The Beatles themselves felt let down and bored with the project too because I heard that most the time they were off somewhere smoking grass to no doubt add a little fun to the time they were spending. What a freaking drag! I've always really liked Hard Days Night. There's a lot of parts in that movie that just make you feel good, and isn't that the point of a movie? No matter how many years pass, people will still be talking about The Beatles in their impact in music and pop culture. With this film, it's a lot of fun, humorous, and innocent. I laughed too hard when I watched both this and "A Hard Day's Night (1964)." It's highly recommended for any Beatle fan. It surprisingly still holds up even after 60 years. See more Read all reviews
