Robinson M @Robinson.actor 1d Me entretuve bastante. No sé si para la época esto daba miedo, pero lo que si noto es que se logra esa atmosfera mística, misteriosa y de suspenso. En ocasiones el conde me resulta un poco caricaturesco, aunque creo que esto va más en la actuación que se acostumbraba a hacer en la época. Pero en si es una buena película, la disfruté bastante. See more Par H @Parhwy Mar 27 Nosferatu (1923) is an 85-minute-long German, silent horror film I saw on YouTube Free in March 2026. It took two sittings to finish this film. Silent movies are draining for me because to get what the plot, the story, and the characters are all doing, I must carefully, intently watch the actor’s faces, body posture, hand movements. It’s a sign language. It’s also draining because I am often thinking, "What did 1923 film goers think of this… and that?" Like, Orlok is so obviously, grotesquely abnormal (except when wearing a hat) that it’s beyond horror, it’s laughable. Says me who cannot watch Friday the 13th, Scary Movie, Halloween, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There is no jump-scare in this film. It’s all mood and morals. There is some clever editing for telepathy and ghosting scenes. That said, some edits are discourteous, even for the attentive viewer. Day and dark are hard to differentiate sometimes. Rewatch? Lindo ver a linguagem cinematográfica engatinhando, quando ainda tinha muita influência do teatral nas atuações, o uso ostensivo dos efeitos especiais: fades, fusões, inversão de negativo, a imagem acelerada, o uso de stop-motion nas cenas do caixão se fechando... A própria maquiagem do Conde Orlok. E a trilha sonora belíssima, dando ritmo e intensificando as emoções que o silêncio limita.
