Its practically the same story. The effects are average and apart from Bejo, the acting is awful. It makes no sense, even less that it ends with Paris turning into Venice. Unfortunately, while the idea of a deadly threat lurking in the iconic Parisian river is undeniably creative, the execution leaves much to be desired. The film struggles to maintain consistent tone or pacing. At times, it seems to aim for suspenseful eco-thriller territory; other times, it borders on the unintentionally absurd. The dialogue often feels unnatural, and character decisions range from baffling to outright illogical. As a result, the narrative becomes increasingly hard to invest in. That said, there are moments of visual flair and a few genuinely suspenseful sequences that manage to briefly capture the tension the film aims for. The cinematography makes decent use of the setting. But overall, the movie lacks the cohesion and depth to fully capitalize on its premise. It might work as a campy late-night watch, but don't expect a hidden gem. See more Miguel C @RT05235377 Apr 11 Watching the first part of this movie made me turn the entire movie off. She literally got dragged deep underwater with already being under for water for like 2 minutes, and then somehow swims all the way up and survived with bunch of blood coming out her ears. Not to mention 10 blood thirsty sharks in water that juts killed 4 men . I mean c'mon . See more Cristian s @cristiansj Feb 14 Los primeros 30-40 minutos donde Under Paris intenta entregar un mensaje ecológico y tirar otras bajadas de linea es cuando fracasa estrepitosamente. Sin embargo pasado ese tramo y cuando se atreve a saltar el tiburón (en este caso literal pasa con tiburón saltando) es cuando la película mejora rotundamente, se olvida hasta de las leyes de la física y se pone full entretenimiento logrando que la ultima hora y pico se pase mas rápido que el principio. Si, es otra fantasiosa shark movie como las que salen varias todos los años pero esta si es digna de ver aunque sea para entretenerse con un poco de cine catástrofe. See more Read all reviews
