While Lilypad’s influence on Bonnie is alarming, the answer is not for the toys to start smashing screens and denouncing devices. The path forward that Pixar proposes is, thank goodness, nuanced. And it has everything to do with the importance of play.

Toy Story 5 offers the warmth and fun we expect with lovable characters. The message about balancing technology with imagination felt a bit counter productive. Filled with heartfelt moments and was a naturally enjoyable chapter of the franchise.

Super sweet film about a kid who is a little different trying to find other sweet, vulnerable, creative kids. The set up was too long if you have already seen a Toy Story movie which begs the question - do we really need more?

The movie theatre was dirty and gross, and when we got there they informed us that Toy Story 5 had been canceled- refused to issue a refund, and only let us swap our tickets for Spider-Man that was playing that night, even though the children that I brought with were too young for the movie and looking forward to watching Toy Story.

Such a good movie very funny 😂 it was very emotional too but it is definitely how it is today with kids all having tablets or phones my little sister she is 10 and while growing up she never played with toys she got a phone at a young age which was when she was 6.
