The battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, also secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat the evil warlord Garmadon, who also happens to be Lloyd's dad. Pitting father against son, the epic showdown tests these fierce but undisciplined modern-day ninjas as they learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash the inner power of Spinjitzu.

Just as Toy Story did by featuring an owner of the toys, it reminds us that these films are about play and imagination. Yes, they're also effectively feature-length adverts for Lego, but this is rampant capitalism at its most arch and entertaining.

When I say this is my least favorite of the three Lego animated films, I don't mean that as an insult... In fact, The LEGO Ninjago Movie is still quite spirited, funny, and fully enjoyable.

very funny movie but a few things are very different from the original series, like Lloyd's mom, Koko, in the series it is actually Misako. Zane is also very different from how he is shown in the series, and the ninjas do not go to school. many more things are also different, but the movie is still good.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie misses the mark unfortunately despite the massive success of the first LEGO movie. With such big shoes to fill, this movie struggles to capture the same charm of its predecessor. This movie is weighed down by poor writing, some straight up bad dialogue and poor use of the characters. While it has its problems, it does have some redeeming qualities. This movie is balances out the bad stuff with decent comedy aspects, some super sweet LEGO visuals, and a good enough set of score and sound effects. However, unfortunately this movie isn’t quite as memorable as that first LEGO Movie
