Pratik M @nalla_driver May 1 There was no strong plot, no emotional connection, and honestly, no satisfying ending either. I kept waiting for the movie to really go somewhere, but it felt unfinished. I was forcing myself to watch it only because of the high ratings and recommendations, but I genuinely don’t understand how it has such strong IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes scores. For me, it was boring, hard to follow, and completely overhyped. Directed with surgical precision by David Fincher and featuring a razor, sharp script from Aaron Sorkin, the film turns boardroom meetings and lawsuits into scenes of genuine tension and drama. Jesse Eisenberg delivers one of his best performances as Mark Zuckerberg, portraying him as socially awkward, brilliant, and quietly ruthless. Andrew Garfield brings heart to the film, while Justin Timberlake surprises with charisma as Sean Parker. The dialogue is fast, the pacing relentless, and the cold tone fits perfectly with the themes of power and betrayal. While the film is occasionally emotionally distant, and it simplifies some real-world events, it still manages to turn coding, contracts, and startups into cinematic gold.
