Now 25, Connor (Nick Stahl) lives with no record of his existence -- no way he can be traced by Skynet. Perhaps wisely, Mostow doesn't try to outdo James Cameron. His sequel has a B-movie spirit--swift, punchy, tongue often in cheek. ...at its screeching, wall-breaking best, "T3" achieves heavy-metal slapstick.

Mostow directs without concern for his own ideas, and instead considers What Would Cameron Do? In turn, we wonder the same thing. The result isn’t poor direction, just clearly not that of a singular voice.

What is one to make of such a cheap and unserious, but misanthropic and morbid conclusion? A Terminator 4 is foreseen, and there is most likely no way to forestall that future.

This is one of the best Terminator movies. Yes, I have watched all of them. 3 will always be goated for me. The intensity keeps you over the edge and yearning to see more. The silent fight between the terminators was just epic. I will watch this over and over again.

Me personally, I didn’t mind this. It’s basically the same plot as T1 and T2 but I eat it up in all three. 100% the weakest of the trilogy, but a fun watch!

I always felt this one got a raw deal. Yes, it's rehashing the second movie and is beginning to feel a bit stale, but has great characters and action scenes, and the brilliantly written ending finally puts a lid on the 'will it/won't it happen' story. The too frequent attempts at humour are misguided, but aren't enough to spoil what is a fun and underrated action movie.

Synopsis
