arvind s @Arvind100 9h Having heard about this movie just a week prior to its release, I was pleasantly surprised while watching it. The trend sort of continues in Malayalam cinema when a smaller film springs a surprise on the major release of that week and this time it was Jeethu Joseph's movie. Prakambanam gets a lot right. The ghost story here is sparingly scary, with the choice of actor to play the ghost being the highlight. The jokes mostly land, a lot of it aimed at religious beliefs and politics. Sagar Surya (who acted as the menacing villain in Pani) is the source of (butt of) all the humour. He is in fine form here. Ameen and Ganapathi provide ample support as his friends. Sheethal Joseph, Azees Nedumangad, Mallika Sukumaran, Rajesh Madhavan co-star. Prakambanam guarantees a jolly good time in the theatres, with all the shenanigans that unfold onscreen. It is a no-brainer that delivers on the promise of non-stop fun.
