Lev R @BjornOslo 2d Steven Strait as the android steals every scene he's in. He reminded me of the androids in "Humans" in his voice, movements, gaze. Thrilling. His co-stars are very weak, have no chemistry with each other, and they're not helped by a script that feels like a first draft. Why does the wife have nothing to do? Why do we never see the inside of the little mansion the husband inherited? The rooms we do see seem totally generic--and where is the movie set anyway? Why is there no clue? Why is there almost zero detail about the company he has, a company with a board of only a handful of people? What work does he actually do besides sit at a desk or a conference table? And when there's a twist at the end, it's totally rushed. I stuck with it for Strait, who was stellar in The Expanse series. See more Adrian P @Adrianbld8 4d Must watch and unpredictable! This movie shows the future of what happens when we have life like android robots coming to help in our home. This shows the future with a twist. Handsome actors that results in a love triangle. Great acting and script. It's a Greek tragedy with a futuristic twist. See more L J @Cracky Feb 1 I thought this was a great movie. I like the sci-fi premise and dystopian ramifications. See more MC Jul 28 The script was super uneven. A lot of people writing reviews are panning the acting universally and I disagree. I thought the actress playing the wife was pretty decent as was Henry. The guy playing the husband was pretty blah with no range. I've always hated the speeches at the end made by the would be killer that ends up being just long enough to have the robot/friend/detective come outta nowhere and save the protagonists. I agree with everyone who said this could have been so much better. See more Sue B Jun 10 The premise had so much potential but the acting was so cringe. See more Erin C Jun 2 Although the plot was a generic one it could have been doable. The trouble here is bad scene acting. Husband and wife can't even act a believable marriage. The movie drags it could have been done in 45 minutes. Bottom line I agree with other reviewers. It's boring. See more Read all reviews
