Stan M @Stosh 6d It's interesting that the critics largely hated this movies, while the audience liked it. Sure, it is predictable, with a happy ending everyone saw a coming a mile away. But sometimes people just want to see a feel-good movie. What's wrong with that? I was especially impressed with the young actress that played the daughter "Billy". She had just the right amount of sass without being overbearing. I thought her performance was probably the best of all the actors in the film. I'm not a fan of country music, but I did enjoy the music in this film. It all fit with the mood of the movie. This isn't a 5-star movie; very, very few deserve that rating.
