Tasteless, yet harmless, Balls of Fury nevertheless fails to generate enough laughs despite its lowbrow intentions.

A horrendously written and acted movie which even Walken can't save. Go to Full Review

This comedy raises the odd laugh, largely from an absurd appearance by Christopher Walken as a sinister martial-arts kingpin villain. Go to Full Review

This is an extremely silly movie, and I don't have no trouble with silly as long as it's funny, but that's where things go south. Go to Full Review

Does low-brow comedy really get much better? Well, yeah, fortunately it does. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 16h Balls of Fury is a movie with a ridiculous premise: a story about ping-pong, assassinations, and an underground tournament. While the concept sounds like it could create a fun spoof, the final product feels more like random jokes than a developed comedy. The biggest issue is that the humor goes too far. A spoof can be over-the-top, but it still needs strong characters and moments that keep the audience invested. Instead, many jokes feel forced. I was surprised to see George Lopez in this film. While he is a talented comedian, this role feels outside of his usual style. Christopher Walken is another interesting choice. His unique style can make characters memorable, but here his performance feels more ridiculous than funny. Ultimately, Balls of Fury had missed opportunities. The concept had potential, but the execution never came together. For me, the movie was more boring than funny and failed to deliver the comedy it was aiming for. Overall, it fell short!!! See more Dan H @RT38824757 1d This was clearly never meant to be great cinema. But some of the roles are truly hilarious. James Hong, Thomas Lennon, Dan Fogler, and of course Christopher Walken, provide enough laughs to carry the movie in my opinion. How these people managed to get through their scenes without losing their minds is beyond me. It is definitely stupid stoner comedy, but a lot of the laughs are genuine. Unfairly panned. This is a unique movie about Ping Pong that precedes Marty Supreme. A very good cast that are all in on the joke. George Lopes, Maggie Q, James Hong and Christopher Walken made me laugh in this spy thriller around Ping Pong. Ot has a similar feel to Airplane or the Frank Dreben movies. I liked it. See more Andrew R @HorrorMovieLover458 Jul 29 How do people not like this movie? Great cameos, funny jokes and a lot of variety. Just a fun, not so serious hour and a half See more Bruce F. @MoralMaster Jul 14 Very corny and im here for it just enough laughs and dumb stuff that you would expect from a 2000's comedy Christopher Walken definitely boost the movie as well See more Read all reviews
