Don’t call this film a romantic comedy, because with that label comes so many bad associations. Instead, call this a slice of romance, with all the potential elation and heartbreak offered therein.

Worth a watch and definitely well directed. The relationship which the movie follows parallels the larger layout of the movie which is a nice touch that I can’t go to in detail on without spoiling. But… I think the message falls short a little. For a movie that was so close to doing something new and unexpected, it really ends up with the same trite message as every other r romance.

Might just be me, but this was devoid of any story. I'm a fan of Joseph Gordon Levitt and enjoyed his performance. Chloe Grace Moretz, although still a child at the time, stole every scene she is in. Not at all the movie I was expecting to see. However, it did capture the ability of women to be heartless.

My favorite film of 2009. This film succeeds in showcasing both the highs and lows of relationships over the course of 500 days presented here in random order. Watching this film I often had the been there done that realization of how true to life the story is in comparison to my own experiences. Outstanding lead actors and also great music within.
