The 1st half feels like it should have been resolved in the original show, and then the 2nd feels disjointed and forced as one giant action sequence. Where he ended in Daredevil: Born Again season 1 and when he'll probably begin in the next Spiderman feel very different. It's as if the producers simply had some extra footage leftover of Frank Castle just running around screaming his guttural scream and doing what he does best. Thin on plot, thick on violent killing. Isn't that perfect for the Punisher you might ask? Sure, if it's part of a larger production with something called a plot involved. This was just like eating a donut; you get that sudden sugar rush but ultimately it leaves you hanging wishing there was more to it than just empty calories.
