Answer: 0=Never, 1=Rarely, 2=Sometimes, 3=Always. -Do you ever like art films that are more about emotion and impression than plot? -Do you ever like movies that challenge you intellectually and emotionally? -Do you ever think men are generally stupid and/or evil? -Do you ever think that life is meaningless? -Do you think morality is subjective? -Do you ever think that the difficulties and injustices of this world justify killing an innocent human life? -Do you think that a human life in its mother’s womb has no inherent rights or value? The director clearly wanted to show how much suffering a pregnant teenage girl goes through, and that message came across powerfully. However, the movie offered no sense of hope. It ends on such a tragic, hopeless note that it makes you wonder: are we really that hopeless in real life? As viewers, we don’t want to leave a film feeling empty or emotionally stranded, with no light at the end.
