It's no surprise that a script this addicted to fortune cookie utterances would fall short on presenting a sane, realistic version of China. Go to Full Review

If it were any more trivial, it'd be invisible. Mulan II is, rather, more conceptually offensive. Go to Full Review

Alec C @RT30144094 4d There’s a reason why it’s so bad, it’s interesting if you look it up. Mulan was a main disney studio movie, Mulan II was made in a "strait to DVD" studio, vastly under budget and didn’t even have the same writers. To save money the made less lines on the characters faces making them look "weird" or flat. Same with the movements instead of 24 movements per second, they did 12. Same voice actors as everyone in the first movie except mushu. They also made mushu the bad guy which completely takes away from who he is in the first movie. Also it becomes more of a princess movie rather than what we loved about the first movie. One of the original creators offered an idea of Mulan and Shang go up north to stop another threat, but they turned it down. Also something about a Pixar Executive referencing this movie as one of the reason they stopped Mulan 3 in its tracked and stopped low budget "movie strait to DVD" films.
