The only downsides I could think of when it comes to this movie is that 1, it isn’t longer, and 2, it spawned a whole new generation of 14-16 year old posers on skateboards. Watch it. Now. I didn't really like the film until it got real about 30 minutes before it ended, then I kind of fell in love with it. Specifcally though, the acting, the dialogue, the story, and the cinematography didn't quite work with me for the first (almost) hour. It felt a little out of place and kind of cheesy, but then the film took a turn when things kind of fell apart for the group and that's when everything (the cinematography, acting, dialogue, story) kind of fell into place and really made me connect with it. I also didn't like the harsh cut off of an ending but was fine with it mostly because of the thirty minutes that came before it. In all, this is a film that takes time for you to actually be interested in it, maybe even multiple watches. In the end though, the film made me rethink a lot of things and maybe me feel a ton of different emotions, whether I liked the first hour or not. See more Craig K @Cracky Nov 18 Loved this movie.
