Kyle M @KyleMorganAuthor 3d As much as Michael Bay loves explosions, as much as J.J. Abrams loves lens flares, Darren Doane must love slow motion even more. Clocking in at about 2 hours, the film probably would be 70 minutes long if very moment of slow motion was played at normal speed. This was incredibly frustrating things to watch. I had tried to finish the film twice before, only to give up. But momma didn't raise no quitter. I finally made it to the end, so you don't have to. But let me be kind for a moment. I love baseball. I love Tim Hawkins. I like Kirk Cameron. Mix those three things together, and you should have a winner, right? But Tim Hawkins is only given two, maybe three moments in the film to be funny. The rest is arguing with Kirk Cameron, most of which we either overhear from another room, or can't see their faces due to poor attempts at cinematography. Perhaps they can team up again sometime and show us what they are really capably of. See more matt h 01/07/2018 It was an okay story but slightly cheesy. See more 08/27/2016 I hate this movie so much! It was cheesy, boring, and stupid. I would never recommend this movie to anyone. See more 07/30/2016 Love you, Kirk and Tim. I learned from the brother making his team look good, not being jealous of your friend's success, and of course the money vs everything. It could benefit from a lesson in pacing and editing, but it did make the impression that life doesn't always need to be fast. See more 01/16/2016 Boring. If I had to describe this in one word it's boring. Sorry, Kirk! I respect you for how open you are in your faith and your willingness to make good wholesome family films. But there is absolutely nothing interesting in this movie! I watched it with my family and they were all like "when is this gonna end?" And please lay off the slo-mo. Please! See more 12/20/2015 This was a great family movie, and it was inspirational. The cast was good, so it was pretty comical. This is definitely a movie everyone needs to see. See more Read all reviews
