Su ambientación en los ochenta es impecable, y su fidelidad histórica pone los pelos de punta al caer en cuenta del enorme poder del narco, que por vez primera desafiaba al poder del mismo Estado, algo que al día de hoy vemos que se ha acrecentado con los nuevos narcos, y narco-Estados: México, Ecuador, y ningún país del mundo está libre del emporio narco.
