Joe Dirt (David Spade) is a janitor with a mullet hairdo, acid-washed jeans and a dream -- to find the parents that he lost at the Grand Canyon when he was eight. As his wandering, misguided search takes him from one misadventure to another, he finds his way to Los Angeles, where a shock-jock (Dennis Miller) brings Joe on the radio to insult him. But as Joe's story unfolds, jeers turn to cheers, and an entire city is captivated.

The part where Joe dirt is telling Xander the radio DJ about his childhood is pretty LOL. Or when Joe dirt talked about the time he found what he thought was a meteorite & it turned out to be a big pile of crap that was hilarious. So was the part when Joe gets the job at the carnival. However didn't care for the part with the cows. When Joe dirt tied the firecrackers to their tails. That wasn't particular very funny. The part where Charlie the dog dies is as bad as sad as what happened to Old yeller. The film did have moments of hilarity & heartwarming moments. the movie did have an awesome soundtrack. & cast.
