The first great film of 2019. A visceral, pulse-pounding, frenetic docudrama held together with extraordinary technique by Maras. Imagine, a Hollywood film based on real events that depicts men and women of diversity as honest-to-God real-life heroes.

Still, "Hotel Mumbai" marks an impressive feature debut for Maras, despite the fact that his script at times lapses into 1970s disaster movie characterizations. (You'll know them when you see them).

HOTEL MUMBAI is a very hardcore look at what self righteous assholes with arms and legs will do in the name of God. Excellent production script, casting, acting and direction for extremely serious, real life horror and tragedy. There's a very special place in the hell for terrorist filth of every and any kind.

This move will keep you on the edge of your seat! knowing its based on a true story makes it even more intense to watch. It could have been a little longer but it was good for a quick movie.

Good, but depressing, knowing that it is a true story. My favorite part was at the end, showing the actual survivors celebrating the reopening of the Taj.

Very well done for the most part. Some odd scenes depicting a random white woman in the hotel as blatantly problematic, hard to believe that actually happened in the midst of a terrorist attack but shame on her if it did. And Not a single word in the film about the murder torture at Chabad location. Overall, tough gruesome film but necessary to show the horror of that day. The film did an excellent job of depicting the terrorists as the animals they were..
