Hellboy (Ron Perlman), his pyrokinetic girlfriend, Liz (Selma Blair), and aquatic empath, Abe Sapien (Doug Jones), face their biggest battle when an underworld prince (Luke Goss) plans to reclaim Earth for his magical kindred. Tired of living in the shadow of humans, Prince Nuada tries to awaken an ancient army of killing machines to clear the way for fantasy creatures to roam free. I don’t like it as much as the first one , some of the charm of the first film just isn’t in this one . But over all it’s a good movie. The story get a little lost at times. But over all a good watch . I do wish there was a third film to finish the story

One of my favorite movies of all time! I love this movie and I’ve seen it 2000 times. Ron Perlman as Hellboy is awesome and he has lots of humor. Same as Doug Jones, man. He is great as Abe, and this might be his best work with Del Toro alongside with Pan’s Labyrinth. But, Guillermo Del Toro does not play, he does great with the editing, the direction, the visuals. The action sequences are well choreographed. The villain was interesting. But, overall, I got to give Hellboy II: The Golden Army an A+ or a 10/10.
