One of those grand follies, like Megalopolis, where the director is just completely into it... You still feel immersed in this world, but it's a world we've seen before.

Although the story largely follows the same plot points as the previous films, Avatar 3 is a spectacle to behold. Better than 2, but not as good as the first. Regardless, go see this movie!

This was wonderful in 3D. The storyline was consistent with the first two in the series, and of course the ending gave the opportunity for a 4th. The pacing was good, but the overall length was too long… it should have been trimmed by 30 mins.
