It's sort of overlong and overstuffed, but Rosa Salazar is quite good. Go to Full Review

As spectacle, the film is aces. It welds Rodriguez's eccentric touch with action and special effects to Cameron's mastery of world-building. Go to Full Review

As it is, it’s serviceable, but unremarkable, even among its cinematic brethren of live-action manga or futuristic dystopian works. Go to Full Review

Our leading character Alita goes through a lot of development throughout this story, and it is engaging to watch. Go to Full Review

Alita: Battle Angel is one of those movies that you HAVE TO watch at a movie theater (...) it's a visual experience, so do waste your time and money in supporting this film. Alita alone deserves that effort. Go to Full Review

Llia 06/03/2023 loved it. That is enough. See more Steven 01/28/2022 This movie was so much fun! Please let it get a sequel! See more Mudassar K @RT43793808 14h Fun watch all the way except the rather disappointing ending in having to go back to tournament. Also in a world where tech is so advanced was the only way to make it to the floating island is by climbing a roap? Really? I mean you could just fly there or at least give a better explanation why it's not possible to fly there, like some futuristic shielding and anti air systems. I feel that could be explained in a sequel but it should have been done in the first story. Apart from that the the graphics were stunning, the actors were great, but story telling was off. Still, very fun to watch. See more Thomas R @Asureas 1d Lets face it if you're watching a film like this you know what you're getting. very much in the themes that have been explored in other films like Robocop, jupiter ascending etc. etc. So if anyone is going to complain about violence etc. well then don't watch it. But what you do get is a really great well made science fiction action, love story and hero's journey with fantastic special effects, excellent world building, spectacular action scenes and a thoroughly memorable believable world and characters. At the end of it I'm left firmly behind Alita, sitting on the edge of my seat hoping wondering what will happen next and that it will get a sequel and wondering about the questions that the flashbacks and last few scenes seem to suggest, as well as looking up what else Rosa Salazar has been in. All in all a film I'm glad I finally got around to watching and if you like that kind of thing then I think you'd enjoy it too. See more Nerd A @RT86327013 3d Best movie in years. Saw 3x in the theaters and own it physically on Blu-Ray along with the deluxe novels. The boyfriend was the weakest casting/plot point but man its just SO GOOD. Wish it was longer just so the anime could be adapted more. An absolute must-see. Christopher Waltz absolutely crushes his character too. The ending is straight goosebumps. See more Diego S @RT62173114 May 3 Astounding film! There is great story, great characters, great effects. SEQUEL PLS! See more Read all reviews
